 | | Ron MC Herings, PhD FISPE Scientific Director Dr. Herings is the Scientific Director and a founder of the PHARMO Institute. He is trained as pharmacist, holds a PhD in pharmacoepidemiolgy from Utrecht University and Dr. Herings is specialized in the design, governance, implementation and analyses of large research database networks detailing the use of pharmaceuticals and associated outcomes in daily practice. He is an author of more than 200 scientific publications, reports, book chapters and has supervised more than 500 research projects performed for national and EU governmental organisations, pharmaceutical industries and several universities. Dr. Herings is member of the editorial bord of several medical journals and served among others as board member, and is a fellow (FISPE) of the International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology. He is affiliate associated professor in Pharmaco-epidemiology at the Department of Health Policy and Management of the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and member of the ENCePP consortium of the EMA. |
 | | Ernst de Graag, MSc. Managing Director Mr. de Graag was appointed as Managing Director of the PHARMO Institute in January 2000. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Before founding the PHARMO Institute mr. de Graag worked for seventeen years in informatics projects, sales, marketing and management positions in the public and health care informatics sector. |
